The Great Fire of London

The Great Fire of London

What a busy start we have had to Term 2!

We have started learning about the Great Fire of London in History and are already experts on where and how the fire started and why it spread so quickly. We have looked at eye witness accounts of the great fire and imagined we were there ourselves. We have produced some fantastic artwork both in pastel and on the computer.

In Numeracy this term we have looked at shape and measure, telling the time and subtraction.

We are very lucky to be one of the year groups participating in Forest School. The children have loved making art using nature, building dens and of course playing ‘One, two, three where are you?’

In the coming weeks we will begin to think about the Christmas Nativity. In Literacy we will write instructions to do with Christmas and in Numeracy we will be looking at doubling and halving.
